What is Biocine Syrup Used For?
Biocine is primarily prescribed for infections where other antibiotics (like penicillin) may not be suitable. It is highly effective for:
- Skin and Soft Tissue Infections: Including abscesses, cellulitis, and stubborn boils.
- Respiratory Tract Infections: Such as pneumonia and bronchitis.
- Bone and Joint Infections: Due to its excellent bone penetration, it is often used for osteomyelitis.

Dosage and Administration
For optimal absorption, Biocine Syrup should be taken on an empty stomach (either 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal).
- Children: Dosage is typically based on body weight (30-60mg/kg/day) divided into multiple doses.
- Adults: The standard dosage is 500mg (10ml) taken three to four times daily.
